We were in Fort Wayne a week ago to solve a ugly concrete problem on a pool deck area. The slab of concrete that we had to deal with had several layers of paint on it that we first had to remove. After a few hours of shot blasting and diamond grinding, we were able to finish preparing the surface with acid and pressure washing.
We troweled down a brown colored base coat with Elitecrete’s Thin Finish and the next day I came back to add the lighter buff-colored texture coat. The customers didn’t want much of a texture build-up on the surface so I only added one “Tuscan Trowel” coat to the surface instead of my regular two coats.
After spraying the surface with our custom made brown Ultra Stone antiquing stain and finishing with two coats of a clear solvent-based sealer, the job was complete and the customers were extremely happy.
